Revolutionary.

'Tell me the truth, Frank, remember that? We used to live by it. And you know what's so good about the truth? Everyone knows what it is however long they've lived without it. No one forgets the truth, Frank, they just get better at lying.'
- April, Revolutionary Road.

Revolutionary Road tells the story of monotony, how social standards and the notion of picketed fences and warm baked dinners served by apron-donning wives has killed the joy and sucked the life out of those who never dreamt of conformity or cookie-cutter lives. How corporate aspirations and the 9-5 routine has emptied you out leaving nothing but a shell and the reality of non-achieved dreams.

I didn't particularly feel like this film was a masterpiece. I must say though that it was in some ways an eye opener. There are things I don't want. I do want to LIVE, I do want to BE, I do want to stand over this land and move, go somewhere, feel.

'It takes backbone to lead the life you want.'
- April, Revolutionary Road.

'Hopeless emptiness. Now you've said it. Plenty of people are onto the emptiness, but it takes real guts to see the hopelessness.
'
- John Givings, Revolutionary Road.

I Need YOUR Help: An Easy Donation – A Very Good Cause

As many of you already know, I ♥ L.A., specifically Hollywood. Also, as I hope you’ve noticed, Hollywood is crowded by not only tourists, club-goers, entrepreneurs, hipsters and chic adorable peeps but also homeless people that need a helping hand.

Food on Foot is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the poor and homeless of Los Angeles with nutritious meals, clothing, and assistance in the transition to employment and life off the streets.

What’s better help to the city that I love and the people that live in it than providing some help that would cost nothing at all. Let’s help get the homeless off the street, lets help dress them for jobs, motivation and a better future.

This is what I want from you: Go through the things in your closet, dresser, old hamper and take out everything that you don’t wear anymore. Put it in a plastic bag and give me a call, I’ll either pick it up or if you feel extremely generous, you can drop it off at my place. I will be taking it to Food on Foot sometime next week.

If you have any questions, please let me know. If you have suggestions, call me immediately!
Love, Hugs, Laughs & Rock & Roll!

BYOB.

Bring Your Own Boost.
Plans are nothing without your boost. What boosts you?
Being tenacious is nothing without follow-through. Being right is nothing without the right questions.

Olivia steps off the car. She's wearing fishnet stockings, badass black boots and a black shirt that's barely long enough to cover her. She walks into the club and looks around. Her sidekick is by her side, her friends greet her. She orders a beer from the bar, she smokes a cigarette, she mingles. At 2:30am, she leaves and makes her way to Hollywood Boulevard to her favorite late-night eatery, it's packed with douche-bags. Her friend and sidekick is having a hard time getting all these morons to leave them alone. It's ridiculous. She says 'ignore them', they order french fries and sodas. They ask for their names, they give them fake ones and smile, then look away. It's late, 4am. Time for bedtime. Time for sleep. Time for leaving the land of nothing and entering the land of dreams.

Sleep on. BYOB. Don't look back.

C-Span Done Right

Oh yeah...

I Figured It Out...

This is how it goes... She's a bitch because she can. She knows I adore her and I'll put up with it. She knows she's got me wrapped around her little finger (paw), she's aloof because it's her way of saying 'if I give you too much, I wont get exactly what I want'. Smart kitty.

She's obnoxious towards her little roommates (Pechan & Memphis) because she thinks they're pathetic for being needy and clingy with me and their mommies. She knows she's my favorite. She wont share, she wont play, she wont place herself in proximity to non-royal felines.

She's my sweet little queen bitch and I absolutely love her.
